Project Paris Pride

Project Paris Pride

Paris Texas

Texans share a great sense of place. Our history is the common thread-the triumphs and tribulations that formed our state and town. We inherited bountiful legacy from the Texans who came before us and it is our job to preserve it for generations of Texans to come. Paris has long been a railroad center and four railroads pass through Paris in 1956. Today, the station is used by the Valley of the Caddo Museum and serves as a research library for the Lamar County Genealogical Society. Across the parking lot, the Lamar County History Museum is located. The Sam Bell Maxey State Historic Site is located within two miles.
