Hello! My name is Jessica Barber and I am thrilled to be apart of  the Crockett family as a seventh year teacher.

Background/Interests:

I grew up in Bonham, TX and that is where I subsequently graduated high school from. I developed a love of learning throughout my K-12 education. Thus, I went on to attend Austin College in Sherman, TX to pursue a teaching career. I found a love of traveling while attending college as I got the opportunity to study abroad in both Hawaii and Scotland! One of my favorite things about reading is that you can be transported to different times and places, where your imagination can run wild! Some of my favorite books are: Holes, Bridge to Teribithia, The Hunger Games, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, I-survived Series, and many more! I love all genres but my favorites are Realistic Fiction, Historical Fiction and Mystery.
