This week, we will begin our unit all about rates and ratios. We will begin with analyzing how many Froot Loops are in a bag and the ratio of each color to the total. We will then begin to work on setting up ratios. We will be working with part to part as well as part to whole. We will be creating different mixtures of juice to see how they taste with different proportions.

Students will have a SHORT HOMEWORK assignment that is due on Friday of every week. If they do not come to school with the work completed, they will sit out at recess to complete it on Friday. This work should take no longer than 30 minutes total each week. Thank you for your help in making sure your child is being responsible.
